Osman Attmann is Associate Professor at the College of Architecture and Planning, University of Colorado at Denver. His research is grounded upon the premise that there is a strong relationship between architecture and technology. He is interested in the way technologies are utilized in architectural design and integrated within architectural environments in order to produce sustainable buildings. As an active scholar, Professor Attmann publishes and lectures regularly on architectural technology and green architecture. In addition to authoring and co-editing more than seventy papers, he has a published book, “Green Architecture,” two edited books, and four book chapters. His writings have appeared in various ACADIA, Sigradi, CAD Futures, ACSA Annual, International, and Technology conference proceedings, the Journal of Sustainable Design, Architecture, Architecture & Urbanism, Automation in Construction, Cybernetics, Interface, among other publications.
