Michelle Frankel is a licensed architect with experience working on a wide range of commercial and residential projects. While she aims for her architecture to be objects of art, she believes our built environment must be sensitive to its occupants and founded Choreotect Studio with the mission to design static structures that effectively choreograph a user’s experience. She has lived in a series of urban environments around the country which have informed her perspective on building context and have brought that passion into leadership roles in local neighborhood planning here in Denver. With a background in anthropology and mathematics as well as fine and performing arts, she has developed a sensibility for both the rigorously systematic and the nuanced experiential. She believes in cohesive designs, that a strong part should be able to incorporate a building’s context and to inform its details.
