About

Patricia is an Associate Project Architect at The Abo Group, leading their business development. She is motivated and excited about the role of building materials and their effect on societal constructs and the environments in which we live. Patricia's design philosophy is creating and thinking within the three-dimensional space first.

With over nine years of experience in the industry, she has contributed to her community through her work with educational buildings involving unique design processes throughout Colorado. As a Lecturer for the College of Architecture and Planning in their undergraduate and graduate level programs, she has been a role model for BIPOC students who look like her.

Additionally, outside the office and classroom, Patricia has participated in many virtual seminars with NOMA Colorado and AIA Colorado, as well as being a panelist at A4LE conferences. She is a founding member of the National Organization of Minority Architects Colorado chapter, NOMA Colorado. Currently, within NOMA Colorado she serves as President Elect coordinating their annual initiative Project Pipeline.

Patricia has served as a Design Team Member for the nonprofit organization, Reimagine America's Schools. Most recently, Patricia has contributed to the AIA Colorado JEDI Committee's monthly series "One Question," which allows you to see through the lenses of five different practitioners to learn how their unique backgrounds shape experiences in the firm and their approaches to design.

Outside of architecture, Patricia serves as an Elder in her church, Denver South Seventh Day Adventist, coordinating many cultural and theatric events throughout the year. She is Haitian American and speaks three languages she learned as a child, growing up in Massachusetts.
