Our college, in partnership with History Colorado, is proud to announce that BS Arch student Schawn Chi Ming Li is the recipient of the Fall 2020 Temple Buell Diversity Fellowship.  

Schawn will be cataloging the architectural drawings of John R. Henderson, Colorado’s first licensed Black architect. This project will make Henderson’s work accessible to the public through History Colorado’s online collection. It also will support the development of an exhibition featuring Henderson’s work at our college next spring.  

We are so excited about this important initiative. Work by Schawn and all of those involved will help illuminate a critical aspect of our state’s architectural history.
