Dr. Louise Bordelon the next Interim Chair of the LA Department

Louise Bordelon is the new Interim Chair of the Landscape Architecture Department.
On May 6, 2020, College of Architecture and Planning Dean Nan Ellin announced that Dr. Louise Bordelon will be the next Interim Chair of the Landscape Architecture Department, starting July 1, 2020. Professor Bordelon joined the Landscape Architecture Department as a full-time Instructor last Fall and she holds undergraduate degrees in Architecture from the University of Cape Town and Landscape Architecture from University of Pretoria, as well as a Masters in Landscape Architecture and a PhD in Geography and Anthropology from Louisiana State University where she was a Fulbright Scholar. Professor Bordelon has also held a postdoctoral fellowship in Geography at Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
The Dean also thanked Professor Joern Langhorst for his wonderful service as Interim Chair this year and expressed her great appreciation to Dr. Louise Bordelon for agreeing to assume this role for academic year 2020-21.
