The Architecture department at the College of Architecture and Planning offers the only accredited professional degree in architecture in the state of Colorado.
The CU On the Air Podcast recently talked to representatives of the University Technical Assistance program, or UTA, a unique collaboration between a Colorado Center for Community Development in the College of Architecture and Planning at CU Denver, and a division of local government within the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, or DOLA.
CU Denver's design-build program received recognition from AIA for their Long's Peak Toilet project. This project explores humane waste collection and lightweight prefabricated construction in order to minimize the human footprint in Colorado's backcountry.
