This year, two faculty members from the College of Architecture and Planning received CU Denver Faculty Excellence Awards at the annual awards ceremony hosted in the Lawrence Street Center Terrace Room on Monday, April 10.
The CU Denver Faculty Excellence Awards recognize our campus faculty's superior accomplishments in teaching, leadership and service, research and creative work, librarianship, faculty mentoring, and practices related to instructional, research, and clinical faculty. The awardees are selected by colleagues and students for their exemplary work.
Mira Woodson, Assistant Professor CTT and Associate Chair of Architecture received the award for Excellence in Teaching – Instructional/Research/Clinical Faculty.
Matt Shea, Assistant Professor of Architecture, received the award for Excellence in Teaching – Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty.

Landscape Architecture Chair Louise Bordelon and Associate Dean of the College of Architecture and Planning Jody Beck were nominated for Faculty Excellence Awards.
