Date: 9/1/2015 - 4/1/2016
Principal Researchers:

Location: Carbondale, CO

The goal of this project was really to create an exhibit that could be used to start a larger conversation with the school district in Carbondale about considering a piece of property to create new affordable housing. The Town of Carbondale approached CCCD to aid in developing plan configurations of housing scenarios that would utilize a strip of the school districts property.

Students used the towns code and found densities that would work in this area and outlines options for development. If this project moved forward it would add needed housing to the shortage that currently exists.
