Todd Wenskoski

Todd Wenskoski is a Principal at Livable Cities Studio and an urban designer and landscape architect whose work explores how landscape, infrastructure, ecology, and public life can shape better cities. His practice spans urban design, public realm, parks, streetscapes, resilience, and affordable housing across the United States and internationally.

As Deputy Director and Principal Urban Designer for the City and County of Denver, Todd helped lead more than $100 million in planning and capital initiatives. His work includes the Central Platte Valley and Riverfront Park, Brighton Boulevard and the South Platte River corridor, the 39th Avenue Greenway, and the Sun Valley Neighborhood. He also helped advance Denver’s early leadership in green infrastructure, including the City’s first public green infrastructure project along Brighton Boulevard.

Through practice, teaching, research, public speaking, and civic engagement, Todd contributes to the evolving dialogue between urban design and landscape architecture in Denver and nationally. His work challenges the conventional boundaries between the disciplines, positioning landscape architecture as a leading force in shaping resilient, equitable, and livable cities.

Todd brings this depth of professional practice directly to design education. He has served as a studio critic at the University of Texas and Auburn University, and a Career Discovery instructor at Harvard's Graduate School of Design. He holds degrees from the University of Arizona and Harvard University.
