Carolyn Larsen has been practicing landscape architecture in Colorado since graduating from the University of Georgia in 2019. With a special interest in trauma-informed design (TID), she aims to respond to community needs through design to create healing, inspiring, and memorable spaces. Her project experience includes neighborhood parks, trail systems, affordable and permanent supportive housing. She has strong leadership, organizational, and graphic skills, and seeks opportunities to help her local community.
Outside of work, Carolyn founded a DEI Working Group and the Design Community Book Club. Since joining Flow Design Collaborative in 2022, she has led the team in implementing TID into their affordable housing, permanent supportive housing, and shelter projects.
