Alisha is an urban designer and planner with a 20‑year career dedicated to advancing inclusive, community‑centered places. Her work is defined by a collaborative approach, creative problem solving, and a deep commitment to housing, equitable development, and meaningful community engagement. She led the urban design for Parkside West at Baseline, Colorado’s first pollinator district, and has directed the planning and entitlement of more than 30 affordable housing developments across the Rocky Mountain West.

As the owner and founder of Zipper Line Strategies, Alisha provides land‑entitlement and planning expertise to mission‑driven organizations and development teams. She serves on Denver’s Planning Board, is a member of the city’s Unlocking Housing Choices Steering Committee and sits on the Technical Advisory Board for Denver Community Planning and Development. Alisha holds a Master of Urban Design and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver.
