Sean received his master's in architecture from the University of Colorado Denver College of Architecture and Planning. While in school, he taught the Skills Workshop for incoming grad students in 2022 and 2023. He also was the TA for Undergrad Studio 1 from Fall 2022 to Spring 2024. During school, he sat as the director for the AIAS Freedom by Design. In 2023, under his leadership, they received the AIAS National honor for Best Freedom by Design Project of the Year.
While earning his certificate in Design-Build, he was part of the Phase 2 design team of the award-winning Colorado Building Workshop NOAA Fisheries Field Camp project, located on Cape Shirreff, Livingston Island, Antarctica. Before graduating, he was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Leadership Merit Award. He lives in Golden, CO with his wife and son, where they take full advantage of living between the city and the mountains. He's honored to be a lecturer at CU Denver and excited to take the next steps in teaching.
