Korey D. White

May 27, 2020Prior to joining DLR Group, Korey held positions at Stantec, RNL, and Path21 Architecture & Planning. Korey is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. She was recently elected to the AIA National Strategic Council as an At-Large Representative.
Locally, Korey volunteers with AIA Chicago and is a member of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. At a state level, Korey serves on the executive board for the AIA Illinois Emerging Professionals group. In addition to her professional service, she is an executive team member of the University of Colorado Denver Alumni Board.
Korey has received numerous honors, including a 2018 AIA National Young Architects Award and a 2017 Building Design + Construction “40 Under 40” Award. She also won an AIA Colorado Leadership Award in 2016.
Korey holds master’s degrees in Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning, which she earned in 2013 from the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver. She received a BS in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. Korey is currently working on her MBA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a focus on two areas: global challenges in business, and entrepreneurship and strategic innovation.
