Post-flood Recovery and Beautification Projects - Lyons, CO

Date: 6/1/2016 - 3/15/2016
Principal Researchers:

Location: Lyons, CO

The town of Lyons was hard hit by the 2013 floods. They have been actively engaged in post-flood recovery since this time. The town sought conceptual plans for four different projects: the Lyons Depot, a triangle gateway median, the wastewater treatment facility site, and McConnell Drive streetscape. The project sites, while not all in flood effected areas, were additional sites where the city hoped to build community character through resilience and beautification.
