The MURP Alumni Association’s mission is to further the enduring educational interests, social diversity, professional development, and charitable support of CU Denver MURP students, alumni, and the communities they serve. MURPAA will encourage participation in the affairs of the College of Architecture and Planning, the University of Colorado Denver, the greater Denver Metropolitan Area, and the Intermountain West.
All graduates of the University of Colorado's MURP program are members of the MURP Alumni Association (MURPAA). Our alumni are engaged in diverse areas across planning, including transportation, housing, and sustainability. They work across private planning firms, public agencies, and non-profit organizations. Our members are brought together through their commitment to support fellow alumni and current students, bringing mentorship, professional guidance, and scholarship opportunities throughout the organization.
Our Bylaws lay out our mission, requirements for membership, governance structure, duties and responsibilities of board members, and other rules and policies for the organization. You can read our Bylaws here.
Meet our current board. MURPAA board members bring a wide range of skills and expertise across the planning field - from housing to transportation, local government to private planning firms, and everything else in between. They are dedicated to advancing MURPAA’s mission by creating opportunities for student and alumni engagement and by fostering meaningful connections through mentorship, professional development, and scholarship support.
