Let's Collaborate! Get Involved!

LoDo Lab is steadily building an interdisciplinary community of designers and researchers from universities across North America. Our members' research and teaching practices engage with topics including but not limited to biology/ecology, material lifecycles, climate change, and the sustainability of the built environment.

Our Research Colloquium is a chance for faculty members, students, and staff to meet virtually, share work in progress, and enjoy each other's company and support. In a typical session, one or two members present, followed by a discussion.

The presentations do not have to be polished; instead, they are intended to act as conversation starters and to provide an opportunity to solicit feedback from the group. We will ask members to sign up for a presentation date in our first meeting. We welcome all backgrounds and fields of expertise to add to the conversation.

Collaborative Project?

Do you have a project you need collaborators for? Are you a local firm in need of research assistance? LoDo Lab is happy to create and help facilitate or network collaborative works for researchers, professionals, and faculty.

Teaching Approach

The Lab also provides an environment of learning for students to improve their professional skills, go beyond the limits of the classroom and their field of study, and engage in research activities that can address the environmental challenges we face today. It achieves this through informal workshops, research assistantships, and related coursework taught by its faculty members.
