Winter 2025

The UTAP team was asked by Jackson County to create a Master Plan for various renovations and site improvements for North Park Nature Area, updating the 1996 Lions Park Wetland Enhancement Plan. The team conducted various site analyses and collaborated with the Lions Club to inform the placement of site amenities.

This plan enhances Lions Park as a welcoming destination in Walden, CO, focusing on habitat restoration, passive recreation, and education. In collaboration with the local Lions Club and community representatives, it improves the park’s southern and northeastern entrances and overall connection to town, enriching both the environment and community experience.
