Hugo, CO: Childcare Facility

Rendering of the exterior of the Hugo, Colorado childcare facility.

Summer 2023

The  UTAP team was asked by the  Town of Hugo to provide a conceptual design for the Country Living Learning Center.  The base program developed as a childcare facility serves approximately 70 children of ages six weeks (infant) to five years (preschool).

This plan addresses Hugo’s increasing need for a permanent and dedicated space for quality childcare. Child-friendly designs are implemented to ease the demands on staff and support care of children by providing healthy indoor and outdoor environments that foster creativity, learning, independence, and group play through thoughtful programming.
