Charlotte Francisco

Charlotte Francisco (she/her) is a graduate student in the Master of Landscape Architecture program at CU Denver. She is passionate about designing culturally rich and ecologically innovative landscapes which actively support mental health and encourage fun. Her undergraduate background in Biology and Environmental Studies inspired interest in this bridge between nature and people. Born and raised in Groton, Massachusetts, Charlotte has deep roots in the Northeast, and a great appreciation for how landscapes make us feel home. She hopes to work with both public and private projects, and specifically to create more empathetic, joyful, and meaningful landscapes. She hopes to use her learned skills as a landscape architect to explore how the field can make larger-scale impacts on systemic issues of equity and justice.
