Sarah joined CCCD in May 2021 and is at the University of Colorado Denver working towards a Master of Landscape Architecture degree. She grew up in rural Vermont, where she spent her childhood running in the woods, swimming in the lakes, and learning how to run a homestead (chickens and vegetable gardens galore). She moved to Colorado in 2019, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies where she focused her studies in Ecology and Conservation. Sarah believes that our environment has the power to define who we are as people, it’s unique qualities and characteristics reflecting those who are a part of it. It is her hope to improve the quality and environmental impact of our landscapes and communities in order to benefit and enrich lives.
