eDEN has partnered with local community members in the Baker Neighborhood to improve streets in the neighborhood with paint, gardens, and public gathering spaces. It began by extending an existing public garden in the tree lawn named Baker Gardens on 4th Ave. This public resource provides space for people to walk, gather, and enjoy pollinator and productive landscapes.
The project started by extending Baker Gardens using a public path, pollinator plants, and productive plants. Community members of all ages came out to help transform their neighbor's tree lawn into a community serving resource.
