Ekar Farm

In this world, neighbors are important. Ekar Farm is a good neighbor to have - a value-driven nonprofit urban farm with a community building mission.Moving in and developing a new site at Shalom Park in Aurora, CO carries an opportunity and responsibility to design the space in a way that benefits everyone. This design aims to do just that - propose possible site options that consider Shalom Park, Belleview Heights, Public Storage, Woodgate Residents, the City of Aurora, and most of all Ekar Farm. The design features production space, an intergenerational garden, grain silo themed shade structure, food forest, and boardwalk overlook among other things.
