Abigail Christman

Abigail is a Senior City Planner in Landmark Preservation at the City and County of Denver. She has a varied background in preservation havingpreviously worked for cultural resource consulting firms in several states, Colorado Preservation, Inc., and the Center of Preservation Research at CUDenver. Her experience includes design review, reconnaissance and intensive-level surveys, National Register nominations, Section 106 consultation,preservation tax credit certification, and public outreach. She's been a lecturer in the College of Architecture and Planning for the past decade. Abigail isalso on the Board of Directors of the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) and provides preservation training to commissions acrossthe U.S. She has a B.A. in History from the University of the South, an M.A. in Public History/Historic Preservation from Middle Tennessee StateUniversity and a M.A. in Histories and Theories of Architecture from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, England.
