Carmen New has worked in communications and marketing (largely in higher education communications) since earning her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2011. Carmen’s expertise is in digital marketing communications, recruitment, social media, print communications, brand management, and website maintenance and analytics.
Carmen found her niche with schools of architecture and urban planning when she began working for the Georgia Tech School of Architecture in 2017, which made taking on the Director of Communications role for the CU Denver College of Architecture and Planning a dream come true. Outside of work, Carmen enjoys singing, baking, and hiking.
